School Photographs.

Pictures ranging from a few years ago to the beginning of the last century. If you have any photographs that you would like added to the website, or if you can identify someone in the pictures, please drop me a line.

George William Hibbert - back row second from right.

"I have three old school form photos from the 1920s and 30s. My father, George William Hibbert is third row from front and third from right.  His two brothers Ralph and Ray are on the back row far left and second from right. I think this picture would be about 1930. He sadly died a year ago and his ashes are buried in the churchyard at Pytchley. Dads sister Marjorie is in the second row from the front and second from the left. She died when she was 21. They all lived in the village from about 1922 until about 1934. They lived in a cottage in the high street which was demolished a good few years ago."

"My father George William Hibbert is front row in the centre. The head master was Mr Lack and my father when he was very young called him Mr Tin Tack and promptly got the cane when he was about 4. How times have changed."

This picture is of Reception year in 1993, and unfortunately all trace of the pupils appears to have been lost. If anyone can identify a face then please let me know.
