No more Buses - ever
This is a warning for everyone who uses the bus service in the village. Please dont wait at the bus stop after 7th May 2011 as there will be no more buses. Due to the cut backs, it was felt by Stagecoach that, although the service was
desirable it was economically unsustainable - in other words all funding has been stopped. So there you are! if you want to get out of the village and you dont have a car or bike then your only recourse is to either ask a neighbour or phone for a taxi.
If you are unhappy with this state of affairs, get in touch with your MP - or at least your Parish Council. STOP PRESS - you can also voice your opinion on the Northamptonshire 'You Choose' web site - just click HERE and get objecting. HURRY - you have until May 27th 2011 to add your comments!
