Pytchley Church Heritage Trust

The Parochial Church Council encouraged the setting up of the Pytchley Church Heritage Trust in 2007. The Trust is a registered charity (number 1132040) whose purpose is to raise funds for the upkeep and improvement of the parish church. We seek to raise funds partly by encouraging the use of the church for concerts, exhibitions, meetings and other events. The idea is to raise interest in this ancient building among those who do not attend church as well as among those who do. The trustees include both churchgoers and non-churchgoers.

Anyone interested can become a Friend of Pytchley Church.

In 2010 the Trust launched the Tower Project Appeal.  Read all about it here (pdf file).  By June 2011 approximately £53,000 had been raised towards the target of £56,000.  The work involved in the Project started in April.

The Trust has organised several concerts.  Among other events was a very successful and well-attended Exhibition on the history of the village in October 2008.

On Saturday 16 July there will be a Summer Concert in the church by the Arnold Camerata String Quartet. Click here for details
