The Parochial Church Council has encouraged the setting up of the Pytchley Church Heritage Trust. The trust is a charity whose purpose is to raise funds for the upkeep and improvement of the parish church among the wider community and to encourage the use of the church for concerts, exhibitions and meetings. The idea is to raise interest in the fine parish church in the village among those who do not attend church as well as among those who do and the trustees include both. Those who wish to support the Trust will be invited to become "Friends of Pytchley Church". Donations and regular contributions are very welcome. The Trust organised a Musical Evening in the church on Saturday 10 November 2007 at 7 p.m. HERITAGE WEEKENDThe Trust organised a very successful and well-attended Exhibition on the history of the village in the church on 18 and 19 October 2008. The main feature was a layout that roughly mirrored the layout of the village. Village houses and buildings were featured, with information about their history and the families that lived in them in the past. Photos and items in or associated with the house were displayed.
