Welcome to our Website
Welcome to the Pytchley Village Web. In this site we aim to provide information for you, the villagers, to help you get the best out of your village and the facilities it has to offer. Please use the menu on the left to navigate to the main articles, and the two menus on the right for quick links to external sites of interest and latest news stories.
We now have a Facebook Page where you can see the latest posts & perhaps post your own thoughts. Just click on the link:
New! We've just introduced a Login Facility (click on 'organisations' on LH menu and then see the panel on right side of the screen). If you register you will be added to our mailing list and get occasional emails about things happening in the village. Why not try it? You can easily unsubscribe at any time by emailing to the enquiries email address at the bottom of every page.
Researching your Family History? – if you intend visiting All Saints’ church or the village for family history reasons please let this web-site know the names you are interested in & the date & approximate time of your visit. All church registers are now deposited with the County Records Office at Wootton Hall Northampton but a booklet showing all graves and memorial inscriptions in the churchyards and in the church and other material on village families is available in the village. The church is not normally open but again someone can unlock it & show you around if we know you are coming

There is a possible proposal for a wind turbine to be located just outside of the Parish boundary on Ryehill Farm near Isham. Letters dated 24th July from the developer have been distributed to some members of the village requesting a response by 15th August. This is only a preliminary move but it is most likely that it will go to full planning application. The particular proposed location is in Wellingborough Council area, so the planning details will not be found on the Kettering Planning portal.
if you are concerned, or even just interested, in this proposal, there will be a special meeting of the PPC on thursday 14th August at the village hall.
The outcome of that meeting will be posted on this website soonest.
